Psalm 4: An Evening Prayer!

According to this Psalm, David is in distress. No specifics are given, and therefore many of us can relate this to times in our lives when we have also been distressed. This is also known as an evening prayer, and like Ps.3:5 David prays and then is able to go to sleep peacefully, knowing that the LORD will make him dwell safely. Maybe David could only deal with this when he had dealt with any anger that he had in his heart. I hope this Psalm will encourage us and that there will be great or good or prosperous days ahead, especially as the LORD Himself smiles upon us.
