Matthew 13 Pt.2 – The Parable of The Sower Explained.

Last time we looked at Matt.13:1-17, in which Jesus gave the parable of the sower who went out to sow. But His disciples asked Him to explain the parable to them. He explained the parable only to His disciples, and this is recorded for us in Matt.13:18-23. Jesus described the types of ground that represent different people’s hearts. But we notice that each received and heard the Word of the Kingdom, and the only difference was whether or not each understood what he heard.

We should be encouraged by the good ground hearer, as we don’t know how fruitful our sowing of God’s Word will be. It could be 30, 60, or 100 fold, which is an enormous return on any investment!
